The one-year / two-year Master’s degree program in European Law, open to all students who have a three-year Bachelor’s degree, broaches all areas of European law (competition law, trade law, Internal Market law, social law, civil law, criminal law, tax law, human rights law, environmental law, etc.), and aims at training legal experts enabling them to apply in both public and private sectors.

This Master’s degree program was set up in 1989 by Professor Claude Blumann, and with 30 years’ experience, it is highly renewed - among the top-ten best French Master’s degree programs for years. The major asset of this training is the various background of the stakeholders (academics qualified in EU law and ECHR law, lawyers, barristers, members from the EU institutions [European commission, CJEU, European parliament, Council]), which constitutes a great advantage for the students who can benefit from their experience and expertise, and create their network.

Moreover, this Master’s degree program responds to the needs of each student with its many options : ERASMUS program for one or two study term(s) during the first year ; internship or research programs during the second year. It should be stressed that this degree brought about the creation of the first French legal clinic of European law.
By studying foreign languages such as English, German and Spanish and some courses being provided in English, the graduated students can apply for many jobs in France and abroad.
